Nikka Coffey Grain whiskey is made mainly from corn and then distilled in a special "Coffey Stills" distillation apparatus. It is not only the raw material that gives this whiskey its special character, but also the special method of distillation, the so-called "Coffey Still". It is produced in the Miyagikyo distillery from a mixture of cereals (maize is dominant).
